Here is a random sampling of comments we receive from our guests. We only do a dozen or so private trips a year, so we really care about each guest and each program!

September 2013 Grand Tour of Croatia
We have so many wonderful memories of our trip. You provided great drivers and guides — we loved them all. You are so creative — the tours weren’t just the ordinary run of the mill tours, but experiences. What fun to have Natasha show us the fish market and pick out the fish for our lunch. Then we had the bees, olive oil, truffle hunting, peka, to mention a few. It was all fantastic. We can’t say enough great things about Croatia. The people, the sights, the beauty, the cleanliness, and the food we’re all amazing. (forgot to mention art and history)! I do hope when you come to the U,S, for a visit that you will come visit us. We are close to Napa and San Francisco so we could do some tasting and sightseeing. We would love to have you as our guests. You both so such good company!

June 13, 2013 Walking/Biking Split
Just wanted to drop a note an say how much we enjoyed your tour on June 30th. The biking and swimming was beautiful. Everything went off without a hitch which is no small accomplishment with our large group including kids and teens. Your service was top notch. Thank you again for a great time. Britt B. Oct. 3. 2013 Sights and Tastes of the Palace
Robert is passionate about Split and communicates that enthusiasm. He made the history of Split come alive and shared unique information that we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. We went to fabulous bakery, had the best gelato in Split, and enjoyed a memorable meal at a local restaurant. We selected fresh fish from the market and Robert had the restaurant prepare it for us-unbelievable! It was like exploring the city with a good friend and he left us with great suggestions for the rest of our day.
Oct. 4, 2013 Walking Trogir and peka lunch
So happy to be with Robert for Day 2. Today we traveled to Trogir-an incredible medieval town an hour north of Split. Robert’s enthusiasm made it come alive as we explored the magnificent church, enjoyed the authentic “peka” lunch, and wandered the city noticing unique and interesting features. That evening we met Robert for a private wine tasting and were amazed by the quality of the Croatian wines-we want them in the US! Robert had so many interesting suggestions that we want to plan a return trip.

Historical Tour of Split with Sightseeing Croatia
BY MELISSA RUTTANAI
“Touring a new city is easier with both a native expert and an expat with ties to the community. During a recent visit to Split, we learned that Sightseeing Croatia offers that opportunity. Robert Aronson runs the company from Split and publishes a free travel newspaper called Discover Split. The publication features detailed maps, a calendar of events, and information on services. You can pick up this free handy……” to read the whole story, go to: http://www.worldwinder.com/2013/01/20/historical-tour-of-split-with-sightseeing-croatia/?fb_source=pubv1July, 2012

“We’re home from our amazing vacation and I have finally downloaded our pictures! Attached are a few that I thought you and Sonja might enjoy. Thanks again to both of you for such a great day in Split! My son and I had a blast — seeing the sights and eating the food (love those fresh figs…or, better yet…frogs and ostrich)! Most of all, we really enjoyed meeting you and Sonja, our new friends in Croatia! You guys are both awesome! Thanks again for everything and hopefully we’ll see y’all again soon…maybe on our next trip to Croatia!”

“Trogir with Robert Aronson”

“In our search for a unique day of touring, we found Sightseeing Croatia, Robert Aronson and our guide for the day, Sonja. We wanted to get away from the daily bus tours that were offered by our cruise line, and treat ourselves to something special. Robert worked with me for an itinerary that included a visit to beautiful Trogir, a lunch of Peka, a local speciality, coastal viewing and an interesting afternoon in Split. We were even treated to Iced coffee and an incredible dark chocolate gelato. Sweet memories of Split!!! Our guide, Sonja, lead us through alleyways and into unique corners that were filled with interesting stories of the past histories. They provided us a day to remember and we are most grateful. Very professional, prompt & reliable. “Sightseeing Croatia” was a great find!!!!! Thanks Robert & Sonja.”
